Halloween Adoptables

Here they are! The Halloween Creatures of your Nightm- Dreams!

First come first serve, so comment with which slip of Halloween Paper you want!

Paper? Why would you want paper? Well... each paper will arise a horrid creature as a pet!

How do I make my Halloween friend appear? Easy, all you have to do is draw a short comic or single image of you finding the paper, and speaking the magic words off of it! What are the words? You tell me!
Once you do receive your monster here, you may draw another comic/image only once a day.

Oh I should let you all on a little warning... Some of these creatures are pretty deadly, and if they're not evolved to the max form by Hallows Eve, they will ...turn hostile........

Junior Broom! [link] And with that, ~umbbe's paper exploded and whipped away in shreds through a mysterious wind. Left behind, was a small cloth-covered broom creature. It tries it's best to follow, but without eyes, it tends to bump into things.

Ethereal Siphon [link] was spoken to the paper by ~Mariannefosho, which faded into a little neon floating skull. It.... it seems to stare at you a lot... and I'm not sure if it's eyes are filled with hatred, or curiosity. Lets hope it's curiosity.

[link] ~umbbe's broom creature seems to be enjoying it's new home. But then, it suddenly pops into a bigger version of it's self! With it's ears, it can navigate more easily around the room.... which may or may not be a good thing, because it seems to make a ton of muffled barks. ..And likes to jump on the furniture, then jump off. Is it trying to fly? Or trying to get out of that bag it has on it's face?

~demonlord261 read out loud "Time is a figment of the mind." from the clock, [link] which revealed a small little stopwatch monster. It was scared at first, with it's ticking heart beats you could easily hear.

This creature was indeed a Demon's Prisoner, read by ~Artisticmusicwolf [link] . The small doll had very little moment, bound up in ropes. Why was it bound up...? Either way, in moments of silence, you swore you could hear it's echoing weeps.

You better Habeeb it, [link] the paper whipped and whirled into the form of a colorful snake. Down at =Awehhh's ankles this monster would nip with it's tiny teeth, begging for candy to swallow wrapper and all.

Fortunately for ~Mariannefosho, the ghost didn't seem to be hostile. In fact, it seemed obedient more then anything! [link] Then suddenly, it flashed and morphed into a more detailed version of itself. Uh oh, it looks feisty and ready to fight... Like it's searching for someone to... bite...

AND THEN THE WORLD BLEW UP [link] Just kidding. But, a powerful dark fog did sweep out from the paper, and race down the street. When it faded, a lizard stood at *DoctorCritical's feet. It seemed that it couldn't wait for nightfall, wanting to show off it's glowing stomach.

~umbbe wished for the broom doggy to get off the couch [link] . The dog swung it's head in her direction, wagging what would be it's straw-like tail. It barked a little, until it's medium-pitched bark grew deeper. It hopped off the couch, and seamed to struggle a little, before ripping it's own cloth-face off! And ta-da, the monster stood in it's final proud form, as a loyal friend. This dog would listen to it's master's every command, and if given enough space outside, you swore the dog could sprint fast enough to take off like a witch's broom. It's a superb hunter, that can track anything.... rumors claim it can hunt even the dead.

You think you're having trouble [link] with the ghost right now, ~Mariannefosho? I'd hate to inform you that you happened to grab the worst monster of them on the list. Not to say this monster can't be converted to a good pet, but... it's going to be very difficult. Usually the -teen- stage of the creatures is the worst, but in the Neon Fang's case, the adult form is the worst. This skeletal ghost-vampire has a thirst for bright colors- not just in objects, but people. Excitement draws it in, making it wild. Getting it to obey orders will be difficult.. as it's a creature that believes it doesn't need any.

Pitter... patter... [link] ~Lunar-Pup would begin to hear every night until the sun rose. ....all over everything. It has a terrible curiosity for anything that moves, and pounces in a heartbeat.

Lit-wickery... pumkineery... [link] were the words ~LittleBurdee spoke. The paper combusted into a magnificent flame, sparking with the heavenly scent of pumpkin spice. Congratulations, you've brought to life the rarest monster of the lot. Not rare as in hard to find, but the hardest to find in an adult form. The Legendary Hallow is a dying species, as most are smashed at their child stage. The creature looks up at you with fear-filled eyes.

The craving for candy vanished as it grew... quite a bit. [link] with a full stomach, the candy snake at this stage would not only seek a lot of warmth, but prey to pursue and taunt with it's bright colors. The closest warmth seemed to be =Awehhh, so this is wear the serpent would probably wrap up around.

The pumpkin creature stared at the other beings, but felt safe in the arms of ~LittleBurdee who carried it around. [link] ....and before she knew it, it got much bigger. It would now follow her around, hissing and grunting at any threat it saw approach it's master.

After a long night of showing off it's stomach, [link] , that morning *DoctorCritical would awake to find the lizard had gotten much bigger. It seemed lazy though, as if it had a job to do.. but just wanted to sleep all day. You might find the lizard with something over it's head... as if voices from the other world were calling it......

Wake up wake up... [link] so you can see your magnificent monster! Congratulations ~LittleBurdee, your pumpkin has reached it's adult form. It stands large and mighty, as a legendary dragon. They say it would only appear on the day of Halloween, to punish children who smash pumpkins and put out their light. Enjoy your mighty dragon, as it will forever protect and serve!

The Mind Mincer loved it's new mommy! [link] The ticking bat had an incredible curiosity, following ~demonlord261 wherever she went with it's little wings. It seemed to show off it's clock face... constantly showing it to you....

A lingering language... [link] what could that mean? The paper turned to shreds, then whirled around ~the-perspective. Then... it vanished. No sooner, she would hear... peeping coming from her shadow. A little bird detached itself from her shadow, which bounced around like a little ghost.

Enjoy the face hugging for now, [link] because sooner or later the creature was going to have claws. It got bigger in an instant, now letting out a fowl hiss. Bad kitty! Behave! It was mighty naughty, climbing on everything and knocking over anything it could for the sheer amusement of ~Lunar-Pup being angry. Oddly enough, it would calm down with a head scratch.

The doll had a new owner and wasn't happy. It kept getting thrown away by it's owners... and what would make this owner any better then the last? [link] It had a scary glow to it, and got bigger. It's arms were suddenly roped to the ground! Why would this happen? And why did it have an earthy tail rooted into the ground?! It still wasn't happy with *Wolf-Shadow77.

Peep peep, [link] delivery for ~the-perspective : it happens to be a shadow bird! But the letter in it's mouth- when you open it, why do strange ghostly words appear? Oh! Look at that, the bird got bigger. It cackles and laughs, hopping and flying around. And what's with that shot glass? Why did it just tip it's hat to you? It seems to mumble many words, but each word sounds like a different language...

The witching hour is indeed upon us... [link] With sufficient warmth, the snake grew twice it's size, showing off it's hooded wings and giving many verbal hisses. With an appetite for sweets and spooking others with it's large form, this large snake would stay by =Awehhh's side forever. It's rumored this snake unnerves even the dead with it's hallowed hisses, but can be put in a trance with music. Congratulations, your Succulent Serpent has reached it's final form and seeks many spooky adventures with it's anything-but-shy behavior!

Better get the spray bottle... [link] because this kitty just got a little bigger. The Web Stalker is very stubborn, but very intelligent. Luckily, it's chosen ~Lunar-Pup as a good enough owner! Well gee cat, thanks. You'll find this cat to be very affectionate, but very very nasty to unfamiliar.. anything. It will cover it's prey in web from it's tail, then string it to the ceiling. Don't be surprised if the new couch you bought.... is suddenly hanging over your bed. Congrats, and enjoy your furry little demon!

Oh... no... the doll it is... not happy. [link] This could have gone two ways like most of the adoptables: A good ending, and a not-so-good ending. Unfortunately for *Wolf-Shadow77, this doll had been abandoned one-too-many times. With a wicked red glow, the doll's rope turned into chains. The earthy tail grew large and wild, and the mouth RIPPED RIGHT OPEN. The chains broke free from the ground, and the doll was now floating and staring right at it's owner. If angered, this demon had the power to shoot it's earthy root tail into the ground and poses inanimate objects. Lets hope this new owner can tame this monstrous doll before it seeks out to punish...

42 42! [link] [link] Were some of the weird and random things the bird said. That however, was not nearly as wild as what it would be saying now. It's body stretched and grew into a larger shadow bird, with a sweet hat. And on it's chest- it had an Ouija Board. What for? Well this bird has the ability to communicate with not only any language, but the dead. It's sassy and stubborn sometimes, but these birds have been known to sit and witness nearly every historical event, myth or not. If it seems like it's sitting and talking to no one, well you never know who might be in the room with you. Enjoy your demon-dictionary, :devthe-perspective!:

The clock bat creature fluttered around, ticking and smiling to it's of rhythm, [link] until it suddenly chimed and whipped into it's final form. Careful! Don't look into the clock face for too long. The Mind Mincer lives up to it's name; it has the power to mess with your mind, be it lose your memory or hypnotize! Good thing it likes ~demonlord261 a lot, right? Enjoy your ticking bat!

UH OH *DoctorCritical never finished updating their creature!! You know what that means? PURE EVIL. The creature in the night had turned into it's final adult form, a eerie glowing lizard. This lizard was destined to guide the dead to the afterlife with it's alluring lights. But because the owner couldn't 100% befriend it in time... it seems it would be keeping the dead around a little longer! Enjoy your evil ectoplasm-drooling death lizard! And the army of dead that might stop by!
